The experience

• Explore ancient archeological sites, fortifications, tunnels, and wilderness hideouts; imagine the hardships endured and the miraculous victories which faith has won.
• Visualize biblical accounts, from apostasy and a historic showdown on Mt. Carmel, to the astonishing teachings of the little-known Carpenter on the Mt. of Beatitudes preaching of a revolutionary kingdom where love for enemies is extolled and faith the size of a mustard seed changes the world.
• Follow Jesus, from his humble birth in Bethlehem and boyhood in notorious Nazareth, to his years of ministry for fishermen and Pharisees alike.
• Sail on the Sea of Galilee and picture the bountiful catch and the breakfast on the beach; more importantly, be moved by Peter’s confession, redemption, and commission.
• Swim in the Dead Sea; take a cable car up to Masada’s last stand.
• Be amazed by the authenticity of the Bible as evidenced in the Dead Sea Scrolls of Qumran.
• Visit baptismal sites of the Jordan River, consider your own recommitment to God.
• Experience Communion at the Garden Tomb.
